Treatments

Historically, sleep has been a field specific to respiratory therapists. Unfortunately, knowledge related to sleep is not covered in depth in the various college curricula.

In order to meet the very high standards in place at a company like La Clef du sommeil—both in terms of service quality and expertise—every respiratory therapist who joins our network must complete more than 200 hours of training upon being hired.

In 2014, we received an award that demonstrates that your safety is our top priority. Over the years, La Clef du sommeil has received several awards.

However, our commitment to providing you with impeccable service has led us to review our processes.
We are therefore very proud to inform you that La Clef du sommeil has recently received the highest recognition awarded by Accreditation Canada. Our expertise has been recognized with an “HONORABLE MENTION.” This high-level recognition is awarded to an organization that meets more than 95% of the standards.

With over 10 years of extensive experience and a commitment to ongoing education in the field of sleep disorders—which is always at the heart of our operations—we can assure you that you are in good hands.

We offer solutions tailored to each individual, primarily including CPAP therapy as well as personalized support to optimize your comfort, adaptation, and therapeutic effectiveness.

Yes, it’s perfectly normal to need some time to get used to the treatment. Our team is known for its expertise in providing personalized support to help each client find the adjustments and accessories best suited to their individual needs.

Effective treatment can improve sleep quality, reduce fatigue, increase energy, improve concentration, and reduce several health risks associated with sleep apnea.

Screening Tests

At our four locations, we offer screening tests and a consultation with a certified respiratory therapist to help us fully assess your needs. Screening tests are performed at the clinic, and fees apply.

In addition, you can take a lab test to assess your sleep and identify any disorders that may be preventing you from getting the most out of your sleep. During this test, the person simply sleeps. Their sleep is analyzed and closely monitored using various measuring instruments and through observation. To do this, the client must spend a full night at our Saint-Alphonse-de-Granby location (headquarters). This is a very informative experience, as it clearly identifies the presence of one or more sleep disorders and their nature.
